Pence cucked out. Trump didn't do any huge legal move and gave a pretty laid back speech imo since he was talking almost the same as all his other speeches. Eric Trump and the lady before him talked like they were trying to prepare the crowd for Trump losing and we'd have to fight on without him. Cops in full riot gear came out to confront Trump supporters in a sidelined area jist outside the capital building and a rather bad drawn out scuffle happened. Blood all over the concrete from patriots, bear mace in the face of both sides, cops did a cheap shot jab to a guy's face. Lots of chaos. The group of supporters that had a conflict with the cops had no way of knowing about Pence because Pence's twitter thing was announced a few minutes after the clash. Pence claims it's not his duty to reject electoral votes, it's basically up to the corrupt asshats that got us here in the first place.
Basically it's ammo box now, or we wait a while and later people realize we need the ammo box. I don't see a way out. It's chaos and all of our systems failed, including Pence.
Live update before I hit post: One or two streams show a small effort to get into the building, but considering their numbers versus the cops, they could be in if they WANTED to. Instead they're chanting "let us in." Like that'll happen...
