Well, i mean. The actual deadline is the inauguration. This event has (atleast in my countries media) been reported as a formal thing, not sometthing thats actually legit a thing.

VP called NG.
Trump video ("go home") was pre recorded
"The president has to tell the 'rioters' to disperse before activating the insurection act"
Trump didn't go to the capitol but is actually MIA as of now.
DC NG answers to the president, The NG right now are under Trumps control, but VP activated them?? Confusing.
