I've lost hope that he's going to do anything or can do anything. At this point it just feels like he's shifting the blame to others for not being able to stop the steal. Why was the ball in Pence's court to begin with? The fuck was all that talk of evidence? Why call thousands of patriots to action for this shit? Does he really think PEACEFUL protest is an option at this point?
Trump invited us to DC because he wanted a huge crowd there today. He had a big rally to really lather us all up and then commanded us to surround (forget the exact word) the capital building.
He did not do that so the vote could go against him and then go "awe shucks, we lost everyone. Sorry". This was all very intentional IMHO.
I'm not saying he wanted us to storm the capital, but he definitely wanted us there for some reason.
With the events of today he now has a foundation to invoke the insurrection act, so it does make sense that this was the plan all along. I could absolutely be wrong, but just what i'm thinking.
If Trump can urge the occupiers to retreat before the cops get fed-up, Trump will show he has an Army to command. Which I think was his intention by summoning this gathering in the first place. Patriots in the Capital should heed the president's call and fall-back. Organize.
