Hardrives are useless, the data has to be encrypted and/or stored on cloud servers.

They are typically encrypted as well. Any serious encryption setup is able to lock everything out as an almost default behavior. I'm more or less involved with security and encryption as part of my job, I'm not confident anything's gonna come out of it.

It's also puzzling why the Hunter laptop wasn't even encrypted. What a dumbass.
