VP is a constituional position. He cannot be fired.
Elections are fought on president / VP ticket. Both of them stand in the election. Pence is an elected official himself, not a hired one. He cannot be fired.
Not saying that Pence doesn't deserve hell on his judgement day, but the "firing" is not possible.
