IMO, people should listen to Robert Barnes more. He often doesn't say what I want to hear, but he's always spot on.
I'm paraphrasing, but one of the major mistakes he sees the MAGA movement making, is they're making it all about one man. The establishment political machine has been focused on owning all of the political offices from top to bottom, including the small local offices. We got screwed because local judges, secretary-of-states, election officials, etc .... the entire local political establishment stone-walled Trump, and Trump's supporters.
To actually make a difference, yes, a President, or a few Senators and House members will make a good impact, but we need to also be better informed about what's going on locally. We need to catalogue who the RINOs are and primary them. We need to get MAGA people to occupy LOCAL positions in government.
If this is how this ends, POTUS has secured his place as the biggest disappointment of all time.
I disagree. Anyone expecting him to yell "everyone grab your guns, we're kicking off a hot civil war" is bound to be disappointed. The QAnon world has been backstabbing MAGA for the last 4 years. QAnon is misinformation, designed to hype people up but make them complacement. If you had an "Trump is going to pull 8D chess" ideas and "lol, deep state about to get fucked" ideas ... you need to back off the QAnon shit.
A few million people in DC shows a number of things. It shows we're not alone. It shows we're massive. It shows MAGA is real. It shows people are pissed off.
Trump had several options, and I think he has one left (which is a super long shot), but he was NEVER going to kick off a civil war. Whatever happens, we need to be more strategic. Remember, that big-tech started the effort to fuck over Trump in 2020, all the way back in 2016.
I started a project about 6 months ago, that was never going to be ready for the election, but because what I saw (censorship, etc) couldn't remain. It'll be ready by 2022, and 2024. There's a time to focus on what's on your nose, a time to focus on what's in front of you, and a time to focus on what's miles ahead.
