At the risk of sounding like some cheap libertarian yoga instructor:

When Bannon says "embrace the grind" and "embrace the suck", this is the grind, this is the suck.

And the value of this sentiment is that no matter what, those who make it through the grinder will inevitably come out the other side stronger, tougher, more resolved, more determined, and ultimately a better version of themselves.

Some men storm beaches with guns, some men fight wars with cartoon frogs. Whatever gets results. Life's weird, don't dwell too much about it. Take it one day at the time and just keep doing whatever feels right to you. IMHO a huge part of real happiness is living with no regrets. ✌️

That first sentence made me chuckle a bit. I agree though. This is definitely the Grind and The Suck. Seeing as how I'm not in D.C. I'll probably unwind a bit, have some nails, chicken and rice for dinner cause I've got no bourbon lying around and either watch some MXC or deal with my Steam backlog until tomorrow makes a bit more sense.

Godspeed, brother. Get some me-time and hopefully a good night's sleep too. We'll pick up tomorrow. 😉
