We can and should fully expect a miracle. I’ve often referenced the story of Gideon from the Book of Judges in which God made sure the odds were as stacked against the Israelites as possible before He brought them victory against the huge Midianite army. He did this so few if any would attribute the victory to the machinations of Gideon or the Israelites. He wanted everyone to know that He had delivered them. If God wills a victory for President Trump between January 6th and January 20th, we should acknowledge that it was a divine action. That means by the time it does happen, nearly every Trump supporter will have lost hope.

I agree. Last night, Mark Taylor (one of the prophetic voices who prophesied Trump's victory before the first election) warned that this might get to a point where it seems very few of us left will have hope. But that this will give all the glory to God, that we will know without a doubt it was His hand, when our victory comes.
I understand, though, that this would necessarily entail a lot of people giving up hope. And I can't blame them. Truth to be told, my faith that God has had His hands on Trump's presidency has been the main support for my hope in the last 4 years. I used to be very cynical and "doomerish" before November 2016, but Trump's first victory invigorated me with a new layer of faith. If not for that, I would likely be taking a hopeless outlook now as well.
Admittedly, I have spoken against doomers on here from time to time. But my issue was always that I thought the negative comments were counterproductive, more inclined to slow us down, that we would give up and roll over and do nothing. I never saw faith as a call to sit and do nothing, but as an encouragement to keep taking action where appropriate as well as to be patient where appropriate.
Depending on how things unfold for the rest of the day, I may elect to take a break from TheDonald.Win for a little while, maybe a couple of weeks. Just so I can sustain a more faithful state of mind for myself, until the time is right.
