Cause if they lose it, they will use this as a springboard for stripping away rights at an accelerated pace as well as purging all influence that is not the old guard political elite in politics in general.

Unfortunately, yes. They've been cleared out. Which scares me. Prepare for truth and reconciliation panels, and anyone that supported Trump to be kicked out of the government. They aren't likely going to forget or forgive us for this. The heroes that took the building made those who thought they could never feel pain or fear, feel it very acutely.
