At this point secession needs to be a serious topic brought up. Too many americans have nothing in common anymore. It is the most peaceful way to go about this. Also, Democrats would get to "exile" us out of their country so it would a win-win. This should be the last course of action but our institutions failed us.

Yeah, this is what I was telling my wife. At what point are our differences irreconcilable? We can keep going on like this
I agree. Why force people so incompatible to live under rule of law? Pro-life vs Pro-choice. Capitalism vs socialism. Open borders vs secured borders. What benefit does either side get from this?
Wrong. We do not surrender any occupied territory.
That occupied territory was won by a different government and different men. We are no longer that country and it's become abundantly clear that many do not want us to be that country anymore.
I agree we should not lose any land, but what choice do we have anymore?
SECESSION IS THE ONLY THING STILL WORTH TALKING ABOUT!
For starters we need political migration to a single small state / county, ideally not landlocked. Buy up all the land, vote out all the commies, and do Gandhi-style non-violent resistance - an ORGANIZED refusal to pay Federal taxes, open Civil Disobedience (like the Boston Tea Party), Internet outreach, etc...

I would rather let them have their half and run it into the ground. The problem is it won’t be allowed to happen legislatively.....it will take bullets.
Exactly. Why drag us all down with them.
I agree. It's the only way to secure any type of freedom for our future. Right now we have a country that is controlled by the two coasts and the folks in the middle don't really have much of a say in how things work.
