All they had to do is fucking take the case and let the evidence do the talking. It pisses me off everytime they keep saying "no evidence". No bitches not one court looked at it.

43
SoldierofKek 43 points ago +43 / -0

I'm at the point where then next person who says no evidence to me, I'm just going to get violent.

10
YouKnowWhatItIs87 10 points ago +10 / -0

I’m with you there, never getting violent with my gf but we did have a rather heated discussion tonight after she said those exact words because she probably only sees headlines on FB and every once in a while sees a cyron on MSM. I’m fed up with that false narrative.

From a wise man I follow elsewhere on the internet

Any woman who demands that you make your relationship legally binding is a woman who wants to be able to do things that would make you want to leave.

1

Is that like, "Marry for land and love will come later?"

The Texas case was rejected on standing, which is patently ridiculous. Any dispute between the states falls directly under SCOTUS. They didn't even say there wasn't evidence. It was actually a very solid case, but they refused to hear it. It was a total dodge. SCOTUS was not there when the nation needed them--as much as ever in history. Apparently, they just want to wear the robes and get their pictures taken.

5
VaporJet2 5 points ago +7 / -2

All they had to do was to REFILE the Case under "United States" vs Pa. Mi. Wi. and Ga.,

But they would not do it, wrote the w/h 39 times, wrote Ted Cruz, wrote the AG of Texas.

SCOTUS would have to hear the case because it is the United States vs those states. ALL cases of the US vs any state go straight to SCOTUS.

2
Suo_Tamaki 2 points ago +2 / -0

You don't get it, they wouldn't have taken it.

They were not going to take it no matter what.

4
HockeyMom4Trump 4 points ago +4 / -0

StopTheMindvirus 17 points ago +18 / -1

Can someone cite this obligation? I'm trying to draft a short essay to help my mother understand that breaking down a couple doors in the capitol is not a disgusting act in context of the left.. Along with p1 and 2 of the fraud report.

23
doug2 23 points ago +23 / -0

It's your mother so I understand, but I'm starting to look at things clearly. We are Venezuela and I'm not being hyperbolic.

>I'll just leave this here:

In the United States, federal judges are required to take two oaths. The first oath is this:

I, (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as (office) under the Constitution and laws of the United States. [So help me God.]

The second is the same oath that all other officers of the United States (save the President) take:

I, (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. [So help me God.]

Federal statute specifically says that the latter oath "does not affect other oaths required by law."

Maybe I'm on edge/not much sleep but

Federal statute specifically says that the latter oath "does not affect other oaths required by law."

^ WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? ^ (I am not a lawyer.)

It's an oath of the highest importance to assume one of the most legally-important positions in our government, after extreme vetting for suitability. In the case of a SCOTUS judge/Federal judge, it is a lifetime term, thus this position should presumably be the main focus of their life's work and attention. Are they saying it could potentially conflict with other oaths, and why would they even mention that?

14
Here_we_go 14 points ago +14 / -0

I'm with you. I'm sitting on a million dollars to buy a plot in the city, send my daughter to a great city school, and get a great public education, in a great city neighborhood, and give my children what I never had access to growing up (the country life is suffering, and hard when it comes to making a living). I was lucky enough to be a nerd in life, and it's paying off.

NO WAY. This virus is not going away any time soon. Mark my words. Our freedoms will diminish. We will NEVER go back to what was normal. My million is going to the countryside. We will have land, river, razors and live mask free in an area where we are fortified, and live absolutely free aside from what the public interaction requires.

5
meals23 5 points ago +5 / -0

Spend that money quickly while it still has value. 20% of all the dollars that have ever been printed in the history of our country were printed last year. Thanks to Federal Reserve fuckery that inflation hasn't actually hit yet but it will, and it will soon.

Over ? Not Hardly.

Pelosi Et al have presided over, and been the prime movers of the sort of political polarisation that led to yesterday's momentous events.

If they were clever they'd realise that shouting the odds about how disgusted they are, and doubling down on their divisive policies is likely to only make things worse, and probably continue or accelerate the slow burn towards total calamity.

The next few days will tell if they have any smarts, or if they've been drawing pay under false pretences.

Biden coming out and using the term Insurrection, to a nation that was born of, and has insurrection as part of its founding document, does not fill me with hope that the would be coming leaders have any clue.

We won even this rigged election by over 700k votes IIRC. The only thing stopping Texas will be unchecked immigration after Biden takes over. Abbott MUST RESIST

Texas led the way in trying to take the fight to the corrupt and spineless Supreme Court. We have already had a State Legislator propose a referendum vote to SECEDE and form a new union with ONLY states who will strictly abide by the Constitution The Lone Star State is FULL of Patriots. I like South Dakota, but swamp is everywhere. Just look at John Thune.

29

If anything this is the burning that has started. Small fire over an extremely large pile of wood. It takes a bit of time for the full blaze to happen. Just 1 year under Biden might actually give us more people(Really should not even be at this point[blame lies partly on Congress and DOJ, but us as well for we are the ones that allowed it to get to this point]) that will hate the guts of all in charge. We have been at peace for too long.(The Wars that have happened happened over seas and in foreign lands not directly at home.)

The beginning has started essentially, and there is very little now to stop it. The more they try to stop will only add more logs with fuel additives to make the burning go faster, hotter, and more intense.

1970's as my Grandfather has put it. He has seen this type of thing happen in the 1970's, but the difference then and now is nearly half the country is going to be involved.

This is going to be a California fire that has no end to fuel.

6
strikeeagle 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yep. If Biden get sworn in it will be putting gasoline on the fire.

Every stupid fucking law and draconian measure they pass will add to it.

11
FlyinHeadlock 11 points ago +11 / -0

Totally backfired but we all knew this would happen. It normally happens when people truly believe they are smarter because they are an esteemed judge. No. All it does is make them insensitive to the lower and middle class who rely on their vote. They made a joke out of our vote and of us. They are actually phucking idiots except for two of them that knew better.

9
Philhelm 9 points ago +9 / -0

It seems pretty obvious that having a significant percentage of the population, even if a minority, believing that the elections were fraudulent would result in unrest.

8
MAGA_Marine 8 points ago +8 / -0

They don't care about civil unrest on our side. Because our side is the type to knock over a trash can in protest and immediately pick it all up. The far left burn the shit out of cities that cost millions of dollars to repair. They don't want civil unrest but not from us.

They know we have too much to lose to actually be violent (like BLM/ANTIFA), and keep it up for an extended period of time. Joe will move quickly to ban guns, and the uniparty will comply. Then they really have us. There won't even be a reason to pretend anymore.

3
