It was just the French who helped us. The Germans (Hessians) were fighting for the British.

The French barely did anything, other than get manipulated by Illuminati into starting their own terrible revolution that lead into mindless chaos. German mercenaries were hired by the British as the original standing force in the colonies, but there were also German mercenary officers who trained US army, especially because Washington thought too much like the British, and his tactics didn't work against themselves (the british wrote the book, you can't play by the book with less trained troops, and lack of resorces). Hessians that were captured were given the opportunity to fight for the US, and get their 50 acres, which was a much better deal than they had back in their Dutcherys back home. There were a good 5000 Hessians who stayed after the war and became US citizens.

Ok, I knew that they were involved somewhere but I couldn't remember which side.
