The left openly calls for execution of any conservatives on mainstream sites like Slate and Salon, and the portland antifa tweeter crowd is even worse, but the few voices remaining on the right calling them out (andyngo, posobiec) are being labelled as far-right white supremacists, while many others have been shut down recently for "doxing" publically available information (antifawatch2, kittylists).
In every movement every side has extremists, but I don't think that anyone here would approve taking congressmen hostages. It's just that it is easier for them to slap a "far-right extremist" label on a Trump follower (like that pos author of the tweets here if you look at his history) and no one will complain. Social media is killing diversity of opinions.
And btw I do agree that bringing guns to DC is indeed a stupid idea as they serve no purpose there.
