He could have started by not putting the traitor on the ticket with him back in 2016. Trump could have picked anyone he wanted as a running mate and still would have won that election.

Then he could have gone into office on day one and fired every person under his command and filled those positions with people that had been in his inner circle for decades.

I thought that is what he was going to do when he said he was going to drain the swamp. That is what my hope was.

Wrong. Trump had two choices. 1. accept Pence as running mate and run as a republican, or 2. choose his own running mate (Flynn) and run as an independent.

Winning as an independent is pretty much impossible, so he accepted Pence.

No way. Trump had already won the GOP nomination and had established his base. If those were his options, he could have still won as an independent. He didn't need the GOP's money to finance his campaign.

Doesn't matter, what happened is what happened. But the end result is still the same, the GOP will NEVER have another POTUS again. Their party is dead. There are way more people awake to the uniparty now than every.
