After thinking about our current situation and seeing how D and R are basically the same thing, I do not see a bright future in America.

What is their agenda?

At this point in time, the biggest competitor to the USA is China. We can not compete with them in terms of labor. Their population is massive. Given this, and given the fact that the political class gives absolutely no fucks about us, I believe the agenda is to increase US population to rival that of China. BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.

The coming decades look bleak. You think competing with H1Bs for jobs now is tough? Just wait. It's happening in all sectors.

"The job Americans won't take: Arizona looks to Philippines to fill teacher shortage"

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/sep/05/arizona-teachers-filipino-schools-low-pay

"The US needs foreign doctors and nurses to fight coronavirus. Immigration policy isn’t helping."

https://www.vox.com/2020/3/30/21190971/foreign-immigrant-doctor-nurse-coronavirus

"The Disappearing American Grad Student"

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/03/education/edlife/american-graduate-student-stem.html

The end result if this continues will look a bit like China today. 99% peasants ruled by "politicians" and technocrats. In the grand scheme of things, we do not matter. Democrats created the China monster. In fact, they're still considered a developing country, and receive aid to that effect.

https://www.globaltimes.cn/content/1173184.shtml

So, at this point, it's either a dystopian communist technocrat controlled America with a pop >1 billion that can compete, or war.

How can anyone be optimistic at this point? There is nowhere left to run to. How do we move forward from this mess?

21
cottage_to_curaga 21 points ago +21 / -0

It's the opposite.

The strategy is to decrease American reproduction hence the goal of destroying nuclear family and promoting alternative sexualities like trans culture that literally makes you permanently infertile.

Then have just the rich powerful people in America, who import who they need temporarily, and then export everything else to 2nd and 3rd world countries like China.

16
RedPillMissionary 16 points ago +16 / -0

If this happens, China will buy us up anyway. They already purchase 400,000 US real estate properties per year. Secession would save at least one state... maybe at a time.

7
Juicebusters 7 points ago +7 / -0

This.

It's amazing to me how little anyone ever ponders this, talks about it and yet it seems like the obvious way to go.

Patriots, conservatives, the right, call them whatever you want but they could easily form a union that creates a massive corridor in North America. It would gain land as Alberta and probably Saskatchewan would surely join and you have Montana, Wyoming etc and that's a massive union.

Yes, things would change as there is a vey natural self-sorting that goes on. Leftists and progressive liberal types would naturally move out and more right-wing leaning types would move in from other regions.

It's not even that difficult but I rarely hear anyone seriously discussing this.

It’s not just the big panhandle cities. All the cities/towns have their own corrupt system in place. It’s just not near as malignant as in the larger cities. Amarillo wants to be austin, Amarillo and Lubbock have large college age populations and too many people in the M/O area only care about the oilfield. As long as the money is coming in and they can buy their toys and take their vacations, they don’t care about how the local government works.

4
zwiebelsaft 4 points ago +4 / -0

Exactly. I can deal with the urban and suburban GOP but I’d probably be run out of town in the rural areas.

18
axrevolutionai 18 points ago +18 / -0

Houston, cost of living is crazy low, and our libs are lazy and just care about eating out. Our BLM riots lasted two days and they weren't even real riots. TRUMP almost won here (and would have landslided if no election fraud)

IN FACT, most our races are close. IF 50000 pedes move here, we will be forever red.

Austin and Dallas are too far gone.

San Antonio is also ripe for our taking. DAY ONE people were in support of BLM but as soon as they broke the schilo's restaurant window and threatened the Alamo, patriots both red pilled and lib came out with ar15s to defend it. Everyone in SA is sick of Nirenberg.with how he's effectively cancelled the big three money makers for SA (fiesta, san japan, and rhe rodeo) and destroyed summer tourism.

HOUSTON OR SA, PEDES COME VOTE OUT THE CUCKS.

If you like rural there's plenty of rural..but i feel for jobs and for modern living you can't beat SA and Houston.

I told my brother today that old as we are we should head for Texas the minute we learn they are seceding, I would rather live under a bridge in Texas then stay here in Minnesota.

13
mkdir-not-war 13 points ago +13 / -0

Moved from Minnesota to Texas 15+ years ago. The people are like a different species. Rather than passively hating every living being you come across, people reach out to those around them and sincerely wish them the best, and help them if they can. Yankees visiting often read it incorrectly as sarcasm. Southerners truly love thy neighbor. And I think you or anyone considering a similar move, would look back upon the decision as a divine gift, secession or not.

9
Ganath 9 points ago +9 / -0

I spent about 5 hours today taking care of a couple strays so they wouldn’t be picked up by animal control. Took them to the vet to see if they were chipped, drove around town asking if anyone recognized them. Finally found someone that did and they called the owners. Told my wife I made a couple friends and she immediately knew I had picked up strays and laughed about it with her coworkers when I facetimed her.

I don’t tell this story to toot any horns, it’s just what people do around here. We caravan to the other side of the state to watch a football game, even if we don’t have kids playing. We feed friends livestock when they are unable to. When we had bad fires a couple years back I tried to buy a couple large round bales for some of the ranchers in the area, and they were all sold out, back ordered for a couple weeks, through donations from strangers. We take care of each other and my biggest fear is that the city mentality/leftist dogma gets its hands on the people here.

6
OhLollyLollyPop 6 points ago +6 / -0

I lived for 30 years on 10 acres to the west of Fort Worth. It was like that and all the people on the road knew each ither at least a little bit. After my husband died, I had to move to the far outskirts of FW. People here are that way, too, without the knowing everyone part. If dogs or cats are loose, it immediately gets posted online and someone tries to corral the strays.

While I want to live in a place where laws matter (for all parties), elections are transparent, politicians truly represent their constituents, and you don't have to worry about your government gunning for you and your rights... I would never support succession from this Union. I fucking love America and will fight for it, until I win or die. This is my America and I will take it back, not give it up to globalist and communist.

6
TheCucksAreComing 6 points ago +7 / -1

Why can some few see past their own nose? Why must it always be senseless violence against "Liberals or their cities?" Shit, the British are here and enforcing their rule. Guess I'll go kill my neighbor and burn down the nearest city that thinks the British are still helpful. It just takes a small collective, in the revolution it took 3% to drive the British back to the mainland. Now imagine if 3% of the pissed off people in this country collectively; Stopped paying their taxes, stopped registering their property and vehicles, stopped allowing their children to die in foreign lands, refused to listen to laws and politicians that violate the Constitution, and stopped conceding to live oppressed. 3% is roughly 10 million people. What are they gonna do? Arrest or kill us all?

4
julianleroux 4 points ago +4 / -0

I think you could get 30-60% to engage in that sort of non-violent civil disobedience actually. I think it is the most effective strategy to save American civilization.

What you're advocating is a sort of secession anyway.

7
julianleroux 7 points ago +7 / -0

Why not secede and take the "Union" with you? Hasn't the makeup of the Union been changing since its founding?

Serious question, what is this "America" you're willing to die for. The people, the laws, the culture, the land? Surely it isn't a few dozen run-down corrupt cities and their Leftist denizens?

6
Ganath 6 points ago +6 / -0

The constitution and the hope for the future it is supposed to protect.

4
julianleroux 4 points ago +4 / -0

The constitution is excellent, but if it allowed all this to happen, then at least it needs several adjustments, right? Why not have a new Union with a better constitution?

" hope for the future" - That's tied up with the people, culture, laws and institutions. The dominant laws and and institutions (even if constitution is excellent) in USA now are absolutely disgusting.

2
Ganath 2 points ago +2 / -0

You have good points. But the constitution didn’t allow this to happen. The people allowed it to happen by being apathetic. By worrying about things more than ideals. By not checking the politicians, judges, bureaucrats when they stepped out of line. The states also. The states and the people have allowed the government to awarded itself authority and powers it never had a right to.

While secession might work to reset, we shouldn’t give up on the rest of the country when the cancerous parts are just the major cities. You don’t just ignore cancer when you find it, you cut it out.

1
julianleroux 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes, but not Missouri or Nebraska or Iowa.

Ban welfare in ANY state, and it will be redder than hell on an august day as the parasites migrate to some liberal state. It will literally save the world.

I think Texas could get several states to join them. Especially if is voted on by the people and not elected officials.

This—secession— is the only realistic option, and should have happened a long time ago. The left and the right cannot peacefully coexist in this country. The right is going to continue to be steamrolled and abused, our beliefs trashed, our families broken up, our churches harassed, etc. etc., etc. A state, like Texas, or collection of states, is going to have to leave if you want it to have any chance of ending. Again, this should have been allowed in 1860, but better late than never. And, while I understand the sentiment of all the “we’re not giving up OUR country! We have to stat and fight!” people: that is exactly how we ended up where we are. Two sides constantly trying to force their will upon each other. It hasn’t worked, it’s chaotic, and it is unstable. Please, stop. Texas needs to go, and I’ll be moving in.

I'm trynna join the airforce and I'm trynna get myself stationed there asap I want out if NY. Where I am is very conservative (in fact the whole state is take a look at the electoral map its literally just the cities) but I would totally join the country if Texas if I had to. It'd be saddening to me yes to abandon my home but if they were support China technically they'd be seceding from the union due to how outrageous their laws will be. Well continue the values of the founding fathers.

That is one you can actually win back. If I move to Texas, that will be my touchdown spot until I can leave -- I have a place to crash there -- but if they secede and start passing good laws, the commies will flee back to the newly opened real estate in places like California. Like I leave here, and they come back to take my place.

bring every single republican county with you and I'm with it.

2
OhLollyLollyPop 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes. Just have states declare they will decide their electors by counties. Every state in the country will turn red immediately.

After what happened today secession posts should get stickied!

It probably won't be all of a single state though... Too many commies, even in Texas. Let the "blue" counties secede from the "red" counties.

No asking. Telling. WE ARE LEAVING.

When one partner in a relationship keeps putting up with intolerable abuse, LEAVING is the healthy thing to do. Do you think asking "permission" is part of that equation?

NO. You just leave.
