This is bullshit. All because of lackluster security that led protestors into Capitol and then shot one of them without any warning? 14-year unarmed veteran. Fucking Pence releasing his bullshit statement before the debates even started was the trigger. Plus probably some instigators among the crowd. It all seems like it was planned to demonize and demoralize the patriots.

That's what he said as if it was agreed among the Senators. But let's hope not all actually agree.
So this served to remove the momentum behind the challenges. Now the Dems and RINOs can play the moral high card as victims and survivors of an attack. Their supporters probably won't pay that much attention to the arguments behind the challenges in this context. And they probably won't be presented to the extent they would if there was no invasion. The challengers will now be accused of instigating insurrection and riots. I hope someone calls out this bullshit!
