I don't disagree overall with that perspective. Even if Pence hadn't turned into a bitch, kicking the electors back would have been bandaid fix, although welcome. The real issues came from the states, and that's where patriots will have to eventually sort this nonsense out.
Constituents tried to fix it there. In GA, the governor wouldn't call a session, judges didn't side with GA voters, and state legislators wouldn't use a different rule to work to get 3/5 to do a session.
This perspective totally isn't right. Everyone from the Supreme Court on down hasn't been willing to touch the issue. Senator Lee really doesn't know what he's saying. Thousands if not tens of thousands if not even more contacted everyone from the governor on down, and no one cared about doing something. Not counting the electors isn't a band-aid fix, if it got tossed to state legislatures, there's a reason for them to go into session.
