A witness who took one of the videos the shooting was just interviewed on Newsmax, and indicated he wasn't completely sure, but he did not see a Capitol Police officer fire the shot and another witness on the scene told him it was a private security person (apparently politician-connected) who actually fired the shot. Nobody -- much less "establishment Republicans" -- ordered police to open fire on unarmed peaceful protesters. Capitol Police were badly outnumbered and desperately trying to do their job of protecting all lawmakers. They had no way of knowing who that woman was, or what her intentions were, or whether she was actually unarmed.
