Here you go confusing science and journalism again. When's the last time you questioned an ordained expert in the media or "science"? By the way, the scientific community is currently plagued with a replication crisis. Not exactly very scientific if journals and other scientists aren't able to replicate each other's experiments most of the time. Most of the rest of science is unfortunately building models with parameters that can be tweaked to support whatever conclusion is desired by the originator of the grant, like overfitting in machine learning. Many "sciences" aren't even experimental and are therefore not candidates for replication, especially the disciplines that attract lefty activist types.
