Twitter only matters because we allow it to matter. There are plenty of platforms to get messages and videos out. Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, are no longer the only good options. People think because Trump has something like 88 million followers that 88 million people will see his tweets but in reality probably only 1 or 2 million of those followers are reliably active on Twitter. Alternative media platforms typically are for those that will be more active and those numbers are more accurate.
