I know this is the last thing that 99.99% of you want to hear, but everyone needs to calm down for the time being. I know it feels like we don't have any control over anything because we're being fucked over from all sides, but I feel like we are completely disorganized and ill-prepared for anything other than a rally. It's one thing to say cross the rubicon or it's 1776, but at the end of the day, it's only 1770.

I think everyone had their own vision for how today would pan out, and I doubt anyone envisioned today's events unfolding the way they did (partly due to being pumped up by so many talking heads). I know a lot of people are feeling a ton of emotions right now: anger, disappointment, fear, rage, sadness, helplessness, cheated, etc. I know I have all of these emotions and more pouring through my veins right now. However, the important thing is that I don't ever see these feelings going away and thousands of other people are experiencing these feelings for the first time today. Also, we learned a whole hell of a lot about which politicians have our back and which ones we need to absolve relations with.

Now for the hard truth: we basically attended a rally/protest because of TWITTER invite, yet some of you expected a revolution to magically happen?? Reality check: Twitter/Facebook (hell even this site) can shut us down with a flip of the switch (as seen tonight) which could be a hell of a lot easier if Biden is sworn in.

We aren't BLM/antifa; we don't have the advantage of having social media on our side so we need to be smarter. We also have the glaring double standard for almost everything we do. Finally, we also have a moral standard that keeps us from doing the things BLM/antifa do which really make them effective (exhibit A: PA judges fearing the reaction to correcting the election).

As a result, I am really struggling from the aspect of where do we go next? However regardless of the next step, I strongly feel that we need to begin to organize in the real world, off social media and the internet. The stakes are too high to use platforms that could easily be used to destroy everything.

Lastly, please don't think I am saying this from a revolution perspective either. At this point I'm saying it from a logical perspective because of the unique situation we are in. Furthermore, I strongly feel that all peaceful/disruptive routes must be taken before anything physical.

Sorry for the rant, but it helped me sort things out in my head as well. I would love to hear ideas on where we go next. Do we even stick with the republican party?

thank you for this post. There's a whole lot of frustration, shilling and madness going around today. I gave up trying to speculate and forecast what would happen today, I had no fucking clue what was going to happen until it did and thats pretty much how I feel everyday will be until the 20th.

Some important thoughts to wrestle with / I’m glad I read this post, how do we communicate if not over Internet ?

I'm don't think we can completely eliminate the internet from the equation, but we need to get organized. I honestly think the best way is going to be to create a third party. I'll have another post on this coming up; I'm assembling my thoughts and ideas right now.

Thanks for helping my brain to slow down a bit. The information flying in left and right has made it difficult to digest the situation. Back to ground networking is the best solution. Tech has made it impossible to have real relationships and connection. It is also easier to control people black mirror style. I think we are beyond a two party system anymore. It's unfortunately been two sides of a corrupted coin for decades. We need to strengthen the bonds of those we know who want America to stay America and keep exposing the public to the info we receive here. Like you said, organization will be a great friend. Disorganized chaos will cause infighting, disunity, and ineffectiveness. Memes will be a strong ally for spreading and exposing truth.

I wholeheartedly agree. I am assembling my thoughts and ideas as we speak. It is going to be tough sledding and we have a lot working against us, but we really need to do this for The People.

Read Killing England. you'll realize that the founding fathers put up with a lot of crap for decades before resorting to violence. We may be 5-10 years out on significant departures.

We have too many people unwilling to put up with a little inconvenience now, at the cost of having to deal with it in their children's lifetimes (and military age years).

Linking this here because I totally agree https://www.ushistory.org/declaration/revwartimeline.html. People need to realize the scale at which something like this moves... and to start acting quickly.

The problem is we don't have any brains behind the talk. As much as having all the guns in the world is nice, all that power means nothing without good generals to lead the charges.

All that is clear from today is that our militias are not "well regulated" (read: in working order). The second amendment is broken, not irreparably but it is broken.
