Black people were brought to this country as slaves. Republicans freed the slaves and made them equal before the law. The south were Dems and they never gave up the right to those ex-slaves, they just changed things around. Came up with the KKK, Jim Crow laws, Poll Tax, etc. Some canny blacks signed on with the Dems so they could get in on the power. They do this by keeping blacks on the Dem plantation. A slave plantation by any other name. They is why any blacks (or gays, hispanic) who break away must be caught and punished for thinking on their own and turning conservative. Dems will hold onto their power at any cost, even murder IMO.
