This is one of those small steps. When you register for a party, they take you for granted. You have to make them work for every vote, and you should then still give up that vote reluctantly, for freedom is the true goal.
I am a registered Libertarian and voted for Trump. This isn't the same kind of D vs R shit that got me there. I agree with you that the Libertarian party is compromised, but I don't know about the Constitutional party.
unless you can build an realistic competing party to the democrats, then leaving the republican party is futile. stay affiliated, just get active, never donate, and cause as much grief as you can to their leadership.
