The Democrats will likely push for, and possibly succeed at a monthly stipend. They may even push for rent payments. I will do whatever possible to take full advantage of these.
There will be a myriad of government programs, and the people most likely to use them will be--you guessed it--old people.
And as far as my future is concerned--What do I care? I may have 20-25 years left at best. By the time I am dead, the problems of the debt caused by these programs will be full blown. If we still have a country. I will survive, because it is what I do best. Your best years will be taken from you.
I didn't vote for Trump for me because I am selfish. I voted for Trump for the future generation--my children--because I understand what the policies of the Left do to my children's future. We are about to enter a period where we are separated by class more than ever. If you are lucky enough to be a part of the upper ruling class, you will be one of the lucky ones. But you will have to lie, cheat and steal to get there. You will not like it very much. And it will still be like winning the lottery.
And if you try to make the argument that "we'll push for programs that only benefit young people", well, good luck with that. How old is Nancy--80? What is the average age of this country? Our political leaders? We are now officially in a "baby bust", as millennials are not reproducing at a rate where our population is being replaced. Maybe we flood the country with immigrants. Guess who pays for their welfare, medical, etc.

Tommy Douglas introduced the idea of socialized medicine but stated the only way it would work is if we employed eugenics - only White Christian English-speaking immigrants. Socialized medicine puts independent hospitals, doctors and clinics out of business. It happened in Canada in less than a year, and now what the government is willing to provide is all that is available. That's why we go to USA for many treatments and PAY so that we don't need to wait 8 months to get treatment for things that will kill us in 6.

Not American, and this is a tangent, but I'm kind of in the same boat here in regards to the WuFlu nonsense. I'm not religious, could not care less about not being able to go to church. Not a social person so honestly I haven't really cared about the isolation part, I sit around and play video games and chill with my wife/dogs. Military so haven't lost any money, neither has my wife. In fact for months I got paid to literally sit at home, talk on zoom for 5 mins a day and occasionally for a bit longer. Minimal mask wearing required so far, other then stores that I avoid as much as I can. If the vaccine makes me sterile I don't care, those days are past me. Honestly from a purely selfish perspective its been great, minus the masks. Despite this, I am the loudest, most outspoken critic of what is going on that I have met in person. I constantly try to redpill people on what they are doing to us over this, but no one seems to care. The only real problem to myself that I see coming is if the money that I have spent my life saving is basically rendered worthless from crazy inflation due to just shutting everything down endlessly and printing/borrowing money to hand out, but at the end of the day I am more angry about this for everyone else, but that is coming to an end because no one here cares.
