You don't need to apologise, this is a fucked up situation. There's fake news, grifters, bad actors, back stabbers.... How are any of us supposed to tell them all apart by a few Tweets? All we have to draw upon to make our conclusions is our judgement and past experiences. Doubting Lin isn't bad. Coming here to admit he was right about things shows you aren't so entrenched in your opinions that you can't change your mind. But I don't think you need to apologise for it.
