It breaks my heart that these people had to be murdered today. I told my mom about how a 16 year old unarmed girl was killed in the capitol building and now our congress votes to steal our election right over her freshly spilled blood. She sobbed. So did I. Never knew just how evil people could be. Today was a harsh wake up call.
BBC are reporting she was shot trying to enter the Senate Chamber whilst it was still in session.
Watching the live coverage at the time I'd have said it was long after Senators had bugged out. So could be they realise this lady's death is a problem for them going forward, and are trying to spin it.
Does it matter when? Treat her like a regular trespasser at worst and restrain her or taze her. Why from a distance fire a bullet at her? There's a lot of times you can see how a cop felt in danger during a controversial killing...this i don't get.
But I doubt the selection criteria for the Capitol Police are as high as for any State Troopers. So likely the shooter was a person who should never have risen above Mall Security ?
