Here's a thought. Don't flip flop your allegiance with people based off a single tweet.

No no, a CCP color revolution. You know, like the ones the "Chinese" staged in the Middle East, and Ukraine.

This is why it's REALLY hard to trust linn.

The synagogue of satan is using the CCP, like they used Russia before them. The enemy is the same, only their useful idiots change.

I seriously question where God is in all of this. I don't understand how he can let evil and corruptions run rampant and ruin lives and entire civilizations. I just don't understand.

FreedomFirst 17 points ago +17 / -0

How else can you be sure evil is defeated unless you first learn of where and how large it’s presence is?

7
Nancypelosisoldliver 7 points ago +7 / -0

Amen. That guy asked where God is in all of this.

The answer is that he's everywhere all the time.

In Job’s book we learn God’s ways are incomprehensible to us. But be sure he’s there.

Yup.

Maybe it's the other way around. Humanity everywhere has an unfortunate habit of abandoning and forsaking God - especially after periods of relatively good times.

The good lord gave us mountains so we could learn how to climb.

There is no god. Things make more sense when you don't believe magical sky faries control everything.

pinchitony 10 points ago +12 / -2

That’s how you go commie

3
BeardedNinjaPede 3 points ago +7 / -4

I'm not a commie, I'm a patriot. I just don't believe in any god.

I upvote and support all the religious posts here as well and don't argue against them. Can you Christians on a political site be as gracious as those who are with you 100% politically, but not religiously?

This country was founded on freedom of religion, including freedom from religion. If you're really a patriot, you respect all rights.

Unfortunately for you, our whole nation was founded and succeeded based on the one basic principle - all rights come from our Creator (God) and are unalienable. Meaning govt. doesn't decide what we can or can't do. That's from God.

I know that. I don't know why that is unfortunate for me though. It's easy enough to believe our rights come from being human and not some deity or deities. I see the Constitution, in part, as being a listing of natural rights.

This wasn't flippantly written but developed from centuries of spiritual enlightenment, struggle under monarchies and tyrant and through failures and success.

Freedom has quite the history. The history of men repressing others and the repressed rising up for a better life. The Founding Fathers wrote that these rights come from God, but men fought for them. I'm impressed with how much history and economics they knew at such a young age and in that time period with which they founded this country. They were wrong about their rights coming from God though. That's my opinion, you disagree, whatever.

What makes America great starts with God, and He being our trust and provider NOT government.

What makes America great is it's foundational ideas and its people. We are our own providers.

Unfortunately, many feel as you do and reject God and know better and think whatever "new" or manmade idea will cure / remove our need for God (see socialism, communism, etc.) And it always ends in death.

You are making incorrect assumptions about me at least. Otherwise, I think we mostly agree on this. In short, it seems to me most people have a need for a common belief system and community. That has primarily been filled by various religions around the world and throughout time. There are many atheists who have that primal desire for a common belief system and community. Someone to tell them how to think because thinking is hard. They don't have religion to fill that need so they turn to government. They want government to be all powerful like a god and enforce their beliefs on others. Most religions are like this, too. This need most people have doesn't have to be filled with socialism or communism, but this country has been infiltrated by communists for decades who have filled this void for many. I understand the association between atheism and communists, but they are not one and the same. Are all Christians baby diddling pedophiles because of the sizable population of baby diddling pedophiles among their ranks? No.

Nancypelosisoldliver 3 points ago +3 / -0

I would hope you knew all the founding fathers believed in God. A single God that exists everywhere all the time

1
BeardedNinjaPede 1 point ago +4 / -3

Of course. They also had the wisdom to not allow the government to institute a state sponsored religion or suppress any religion including their own. Hence freedom of religion: you can believe anything you want to believe as long as it doesn't infringe on other's rights. I know this country was founded on mostly Christian values and guess what, I do too. I just don't believe the mystical nonsense which is a non-falsifiable theory with no evidence.

This is a political site, it is not a religious site. There are a lot of Christians on here and that's great. Atheists are probably the second biggest religious demographic. We are aligned politically; we need to get along and work together. Fracturing has been a problem of Republicans for as long as I can remember. I'm tired of seeing all the Christian posts here, but I still upvote them and move on with my browsing.

I’m not condemning you pede, but I went down that road. I’m talking from experience. It’ll eventually turn you commie, because if you believe men is the biggest entity there’s, the ultimate conclusion is despair, for all men are naturally wicked.

3
BeardedNinjaPede 3 points ago +5 / -2

I've been atheist all my life and there isn't a lick of commie in me.

for all men are naturally wicked

I disagree with your assumption.

1
pinchitony 1 point ago +2 / -1

how old are you if you don’t mind?

And you might disagree but it’s true. If humans were born virtuous, we wouldn’t need discipline as kids.

"commie" may not be gracious, but then "magical sky fairy" was not that gracious either.

3
BeardedNinjaPede 3 points ago +4 / -1

Sure, magical sky fairy wasn't the most polite. Get thicker skin.

Conflating atheism with communism is incorrect and I see it all the time here.

1
HillarysBeaverMunch 1 point ago +2 / -1

To be a communist it is necessary to first be an atheist.

1
BeardedNinjaPede 1 point ago +2 / -1

Incorrect. Many communist countries do stifle religion because they don't want to compete with religion for power though. There are millions of Christian communists in the USA alone. How do you reconcile that?

-1
CannonballJunior -1 points ago +2 / -3

The above exchange shows they've no more need for thicker skin than you.

If this was laid out in November or December, people would have bought it.

Today defeated a lot of people, and by 1/20 the MSM will have silenced everyone.
