You need to find an access panel/door to the HVAC systems.
Nobody even knows they're there, and nobody ever looks in them. They will check large rooms, hallways, bedrooms, closets, etc... but nobody ever gets a ladder and opens the hatch into the attic to crawl around near their VAVs/reheat coils
