I remember seeing a documentary decades ago about the KGB during the cold war. They would get targets into a hotel room filled with cameras and then get a naked man/woman/child to suddenly enter the room and engage them. Even if it was just for a split second the photos captured the moment and the controllers had leverage. It could be something as simple as that or more depraved as Lin Wood has recently suggested: forcing targets at gunpoint to rape and kill children. I could see how a compromised and demoralized target could be gradually ratcheted up from something small (nude photos) to something big like murder.
For what it's worth, in Belgium, there was a yuuuge scandal about a pedophile ring in the 80&90. One of the girls (regina louf) testified (and of course was deemed not credible and destroyed by the media) and talked about all those tactics.
The leaders of the ring would invite influencial people to a party with underage girls that looked 18, take compromising pictures videos, and blackmail them with it. They would even make like a 13 yo come naked into a room with the set up person, and just pics like those were enough. Lots of politicians and judges involved.
Just saying that those tactics are perhaps as old as the modern politics themselves. Disgusting people. Of course that belgian epstein was never punished and even had his own "ghislaine".
