So first understand if I was in DC I would have done the same thing and been right there probably going into the building. But the thing is, if we won today, and let's say they even just said ok we are making Trump president after what happened today, so mob rule wins? I feel like we forget that the things we do, the other side can do. We can't just try to protest our way into the Capitol building without that meaning BLM or Antifa could just do that in a year. Or how we wanted Pence to overturn the electors today, couldn't the left just do that the next time we win? I feel like we're trying to win by avenues that can backfire when the left abuses them in future.

Yeah true, I was just thinking about what Rand Paul and someone else was saying and how the things we can do to win, the other side can do to win. So it's important to make sure the things we do to win are legit and not things the other side can use when they're in the same situation, if that makes any sense. But I get what you're saying.

It wasn't mob rule... No court or senator is representing the people. There is no next time, the left will now make sure of that... if they can.

True. I guess we're at the point where even if we do something that can be abused by the left in the future it doesn't matter because we need to worry about securing the win now rather then what happens in the future.

When the left abuses them in the future? They’ve been doing it all along! That’s what we’re trying to stop that’s going to happen in the future, but what’s been happening all along. Yes it will affect the future but we’re not creating it - it already exists. Don’t buy into the pay ops

True but they haven't tried storming the capitol yet either, they've kept all their shit in their local cities. But yeah, good point.

Fact: If storming the capitol during choosing electors makes them overturn the election in Trump's favor then the next time we win BLM/ANTIFA could storm the capitol to overturn the election. Or are you too retarded to understand what I'm trying to say.

I definitely understand that line of thinking, and was skeptical that Pence throwing out electors wouldn’t eventually backfire (I really expected him to kick it back to state legislatures) BUT the left just does whatever they feel like anyway. At a point we need to play by our own rules as well. I don’t think we should become a violent right to oppose the violent left, but we need to get back to the beliefs that built this country- autonomy, personal responsibility, courage, and a willingness to take a stand/ take drastic action when necessary. I guess ultimately we need to uphold the constitution by declaring it the only legitimate rule of law.

I think the point was more to show the establishment that they are vulnerable to the ire of the people. They are not in this untouchable tower they believed they were.

I wish more people understood that. I think everything got so fucked up today because people thought the revolution was happening, but it was supposed to be just a warning that they aren't untouchable.
