There is a video of trump supporters in a half hour long pushing match with riot police trying to push their way through a tunnel and into the front door. Both sets of double doors were broken in the process. The fact is the cops weren’t ready and got overwhelmed, the cops got violent, and people weren’t there to take any shit from them or anyone else. Besides some sort of military action there was nothing that was going to stop that crowd from going in that building at some point.
Which in my opinion was a good thing. There was a video in a stream that showed one of the guards pissing himself. Our corrupt politicians fled to their bunkers. We learned that an unarmed rag tag group of unorganized protesters can breach one of the most secure buildings in the country in less than 20 minutes. Today was good on many levels.
