Was yesterday's protest meant to be peaceful? I know Trump supporters who took that protest as a message to go in the Capital at all costs. Was it meant to go the way it did? Or did we just fuck up Trumps plan???
That video with Trump telling everyone to go home is so eeriee and depressing. I looked forward to the 6th so much. What the fuck went wrong?
What were we supposed to accomplish??
Thats what I keep thinking.
Why was it SO important we be there?
Was it JUST to see if Pence would fail us, and if so to watch the Republic fall?
It was a peaceful protest, perfectly American. The media is making an illusion. It was a dream that we'd get some irrefutable evidence but at this point there is no amount of evidence that will ever win over the left. If you had crisp footage of every member in the dem party being pedos while xeroxing ballots and talking about how much china was paying them it wouldn't be enough.
A lot of people doubted patriots would even act at all. We did act and it was a success but it's up to US at this point to fix this. We got a long way to go and I think the main take away is stance, we thought we were on the cusp to win it but we're fighting for our lives instead and we got to keep fighting,
We'll have to see. This event will only make sense in future context. Hard to measure impact right now. Short term I think it's an L, long term it's to be determined.
We got set up that’s what happened! They wanted more chaos than what was happening so they let us in and shot one of us! Not only that antifa was bussed in and detected on the front lines fighting the police! This is a massive false flag and trump knew it. He said “don’t play into their hand” he knew that we got duped as soon as it started happening
Honestly, I'm cool with people going to the Capitol. Although I don't really see what the objective was in terms of going that deep into it and getting to the threshold of the gallery or the floor itself. It showed we're pissed off, but everyone already knows that. And I feel like we all know actually doing some Robespierre inspired shit would not be tolerated by the vast majority of the American population (otherwise it would have happened). So I don't really see what the game plan was. This was some Iraqi Freedom-tier operation (i.e. starting a fight, no endgame plan in sight). We alienated a lot of people who think we're lunatics now while meeting no beneficial objective.
To be honest, for the last three weeks anyone here who asked "so, if we take over DC, what's the next plan then?" was more likely to be deported than answered.
It was emotional, not rational.
Only way I see this working out is if things get especially bad in the coming months, and people review that as "Hm, maybe they were on to something." Until the changes that Biden (Harris) is looking to bring in cause actual damage to Americans, then this is net negative.
