It really appears that patriots or just GOOD people in general don't ever run for public office. Or don't succeed at least...but it does seem to draw a certain type of person to it

I read one time that most politicians and sociopaths shared the same characteristics , I firmly believe that is correct

Good men seek not the office of power but the comfort of home....
They only succeed when there is blackmail on them, otherwise they get a covid heart attack, or arkancide.
Or the fact that people who are easily controllable are simply pushed to the front of the line.
My friend is currently in politics at ground level, and it can be very difficult if certain people are pushed as "favorites",
No one really knew AoC before she was shoved down everyone's throats.
I believe its possible if we overwhelm them, but its difficult to run against those with more resources, simply because they took how many bribes.
