Well actually I would welcome them to try to remove him by force, the executions would be televised, that would literally be the definition of sedition and treason. If Trump being in TX is true, I would speculate that it's likely that the armed forces are split in loyalty.
Treason would then be defined by the victor imho.

I wouldn't put it past the politicians to put roadblocks in the way to prevent Trump from delivery of a rescindment note for any execution of the 25th.
