I see what you mean, and would likely agree if this was 2 months ago or more. But at this point, I think the genuine users here are worse off, by letting operatives and concern trolls thrive during our darkest hour. It makes browsing and keeping up with events here daunting, and has an impact on the movement that’s not inconsequential IMO, if legit users get worn down by concern trolling..
It’s the kind of thing where you know it when you see it. If the term can be applied to Shareblue, I’d say they don’t call them “Glowies” for nothing. I believe true patriots will be more or less on the same page, as we always have been. Mods should have even more skill and intuition, spotting the ones that stick out and are just here to stir things up.
I've been following the rise and evolution of this movement since before Trump even became a candidate and I can assure you, the "true patriots" are NOT more or less on the same page. There are all sorts of factions playing a role here, in no particular order: (1) traditional Republicans, (2) the Tea Party swamp drainers, (3) the racial identitarians, (4) the Q-anon followers, (5) the accelerationists, (6) the faith-first religious conservatives, (7) the 1776 revolutionaries, (8) the Trump "God Emperor" worshipers, (9) and of course the ShareBlue infiltrators and rabble-rousers.
There is certainly some crossover between these groups but people tend to sit primarily in a single group and there is often a lot of cross-talk between them. They certainly aren't a unified single voice except in a few areas such as the tearing down of the establishment and (prior to yesterday) agreeing that Trump was the primary vehicle for accomplishing this.
