I actually think both Biden and Harris are more cunning than ideologues. They would pimp their family or blow their boss (respectively) to get where they want to get. Yes, it's disgusting, but what's the outcome? I do not think that they will want to install socialism.

So what must we do? Not open a new party, that's suicidal. The Dems would win forever even with legit elections (remember Perot?).
We need to create a new current within the Republican Party (the Lion Republicans, maybe?). Primary EVERYONE excepting Cruz, Rand, Hawley and two or three more. Win most of those. Then go scorched Earth in 2022 elections. And once when we get both Senate and Legislature in 2022, stunt any further damage to our institutions.
