It's like I'm in the middle of a stageplay, surrounded by actors, or someone is about to get the drop on me. I know I'm being "fooled," I just don't know how.
Either Trump is about to pull the most epic Deus Ex Machina/Hail Mary in American history, or we're really, really screwed.

It was only 4 years ago that Obama was president. It's a completely different world now. We are going to be hunted.
It's a two-way range.
They will hunt you with groups of cops. And before that they will try to disarm you. They will tax your guns, then people will think "meh, can't afford to pay my gun fees." It will appear like a compromise, but it is an insidious way. You'll also need gun licenses. Rather than being excluded to bear and use arms, you'll need permit from the government.
Gun shops will obey because what are they going to do? Then after several years the police will regularly invade gun owners to seize their guns. Or because they found something n years ago where they expressed hate speech on the internet and are therefore on a watch list and forbidden to have them.
Google will have tools implemented where government officials and big corporations can look up a summary of people's messages online and something like a good-human point system. It will start slowly first, then ramp up until it exceeds China's authoritarianism.
The same will take effect in Europe. With you as the last resistance to communism gone, there is nothing to stop the EU from pursuing the same. And Britain is ahead of the curve anyway - despite Brexit.

I never trusted, say, Ted Cruz, Mike Pence, Mitch McConnell or really anyone in the mainstream Republican Party, so no, I don't feel any of those things. Disappointed? Yes. Fooled? Absolutely not. As far as how weird today was, yeah, totally seemed unreal almost or surreal, like totally set up in several different ways. Now I'm beyond disgusted that a great American, and she certainly ways, 14 years of military service and just an all around decent human, was MURDERED by her own government because she dared try to enter a public building that her taxes paid for.

He's been way too passive lately, especially today. Why? Trump family and Trump team have sort of "disappeared into the shadows." Why? Why would Trump invite his supporters to D.C. when, in hindsight, this was the perfect opportunity for a setup? Wasn't there something he wanted us to see today? Why would Trump effectively disappear after his speech? He issued a few Twitter statements, one video, then radio silence. For a man who built much of his life on his name, staying in the spotlight matters. It's impossible for him to shrink back and stay in the shadows now; they'll have his head.
Then again, I haven't been able to make heads or tails of much since election night.

His only other choice would be to concede to a man who he knows beyond a shadow of a doubt is compromised by our enemies and announce defeat in an election he knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that he won. Knowing Trump's style and personality, I don't see him going down this road. It would also be a terrible look to the Trump brand which I'm sure he's thinking about as well.
