We've been betrayed, tricked, duped, and dare I say.. bamboozled! But something about today (and the past week) feels off to me. Today's protest unfolded strangely; it doesn't make sense. Trump team is quiet, and Trump himself seems kind of "off" (not to mention his "disappearance")...
It's like I'm in the middle of a stageplay, surrounded by actors, or someone is about to get the drop on me. I know I'm being "fooled," I just don't know how.
Either Trump is about to pull the most epic Deus Ex Machina/Hail Mary in American history, or we're really, really screwed.
You have to invest a lot of trust in certain people to feel betrayed, duped, tricked ... I never trusted, say, Ted Cruz, Mike Pence, Mitch McConnell or really anyone in the mainstream Republican Party, so no, I don't feel any of those things. Disappointed? Yes. Fooled? Absolutely not. As far as how weird today was, yeah, totally seemed unreal almost or surreal, like totally set up in several different ways. Now I'm beyond disgusted that a great American, and she certainly ways, 14 years of military service and just an all around decent human, was MURDERED by her own government because she dared try to enter a public building that her taxes paid for.
