Amen to this amazing woman. She is being mocked and demonized for supporting Trump but she was a patriot her whole life. She travelled from San Diego to D.C. (more than 2,500 miles) because she was the type to stand up for her nation. Served honorably 14 years in the military, had a business, a husband. This was a fine citizen.

I don’t even want to mention the name of some woman abusing felon who overdosed, but they turn that sort of person into some angel and icon whose overdue demise supposedly warranted so much senseless destruction and suffering (like his life). Then a truly innocent, unarmed woman joins others in broad daylight in a public building to demand no more corruption and she gets shot to death. In normal times sure, don’t enter government buildings through extraordinary means. But she knew what we know. Our republic is in danger. In any event, does the left now support murdering people for going into government buildings without permission? Routinely at my campus some group would occupy a building or even shut down the neighboring interstate. People would be aghast at any physical contact, but now these sinister people rejoice about a decent woman being murdered.

We must never forget Ashli Babbitt. She was one of us. She was a brave American willing to serve in different ways. God bless you Ashli. We will take it from here, but I hope we all do what we can to let her family know she did not die in vain.

I hope you’re wrong. Funerals are for the living largely, so I don’t know how the family in shock and grief wants to proceed. Her husband sounds like he was a likeminded patriot.

I don’t go in for blaming others for the actions of one. The cop who shot an unarmed woman who posed no threat is responsible, be it a negligent discharge and manslaughter or worse. But make no mistake, Ashli answered the call of her Commander in Chief. He asked us to show up. She travelled across the country to be there and add her voice. She lost her life watering the Tree of Liberty in our Capitol. We must honor our fallen.
