I probably don't count on who you want replying but anyway, my father was in law enforcement and my cousin is. We talk...
They simply believe that Biden legitimately won, that the fraud is a lie and Trump is currently the one trying to circumvent the constitution. They believe they are doing the right thing and that you are in fact the criminals who no longer value law & order. Who you supported doesn't matter if you're morally wrong because to support your steal of the election would be to support the very thing they are supposed to protect. That's it.
There's too much propaganda. Good people cannot see the truth.
Literally show them that PA violated its own constitution and that GA has no records of voting due to adjudication, which replaced the original votes. Those are indisputable cases of rules being broken that should have, at bear minimum, caused the voting to be redone to make it right. If they see this and still believe that the election was clean, then they are in denial.
Check out my other reply. Many people are specifically choosing not to see the truth because of how choosing not to see it benefits them. It honestly doesn't matter. I've shown them tons of evidence. They don't care.
There's an unfortunate truth here I'm not sure people are willing to accept. Following the law and the constitution, always, isn't actually the best thing. Lincoln suspended the writ of habeas corpus for example. Julius Caesar literally just took power and circumvented the constitution entirely.
If by following the law your family was going to die and by not following the law they may be saved, what would you do? The law is important but sometimes the law fails and the right thing isn't necessarily following the law. Laws are after all just rules created by humans in an attempt to create a good system but humans fail and not all laws end up being good, even the constitution.
The truth here is that it is actually irrelevant who want the election, this is a cultural war between the traditions of the republic and the culture those traditions represent vs. a new culture based on global leftism that have subverted the traditional American culture. Which culture is better? Well, I would argue the traditional American culture not the new woke culture. But that is the question police officers and everyone needs to ask themselves. Because that is truly what they are fighting for, the law be damned.
Many people are aware of this cultural battle at a subconscious level and the fact of the matter is that many officers are in the side of wokeism, so they want to believe they are "following the law" by ensuring Biden's victory because that allows them to sleep at night without dealing with having to deal with the difficulty in processing the information of what is truly going on and potentially being wrong then having to support the side they don't truly want to win or choose to break the law. No one who supports the wokeism wants to go through that so they purposely choose to ignore the evidence and just believe what they want to believe because it's easier. The same goes for us on the right as well.
If you truly see the war going on for what it is then the law and the constitution are actually both irrelevant at this point.
I guess I would atleast try to listen and research the arguments of the side which defended them when the other side who are saying there was no fraud were giving them death threats and defunding them.
FWIW not a cop but - Police do as the people who pay them tell them to. Right now they are being told to kill Trump supporters and let BLM/Antifa do whatever they want. This is just the beginning of what cops will be doing to you.
Because just like most people, they wouldn't do anything to actually set things right. Everyone expects some glorious leader to pop up and solve it all for us. Even the right has gone soft.
Next, there is a vast difference between police from one department to the next. Usually the larger the department, the more corruption but also look at the political stance of the city.
DC government is a far left wing government, so everyone in their police administration is going to lean politically left. What you get with that is low officer accountability, horrific training, and you get thugs for police officers.
Check out DC Metro, you can't tell most of them from thugs on the street. Their uniforms are sloppy, they are unprofessional, they have criminal records. Compare that to, say, Dallas PD, or Louisville PD. There are some corrupt officers but they have a very different take on their work.
Federal government is even crazier, they have VERY low standards for law enforcement. The photo you see of the guns drawn in the House chamber, check out that sloppy chick in uniform sitting down looking in the other direction. Go to any federal building and look at how sloppy and unprofessional their "police" are. They are mostly inexperienced, poorly trained, and don't know what they're doing.
I get it, people are mad, but blaming all law enforcement for the corruption happening in DC isn't the way to go because DC is not the standard, at all. You have to see it for yourself, it's embarrassing, but this is how capital cities are around the world. High crime, corruption, etc.
The failure in law enforcement was DC's, and DC's alone, just like the problems with yesterday's protest belongs to those who decided to take it to the next level. It does not belong to the President, or the people who were just there to march and to be heard. The world knows that DC was on fire for days back in early summer. We aren't that stupid.
The reason it is staying like this is that people in power do not want to give that power up, no matter how bad things are downstream. And of you come you come trying to fix things, like the President wanted to do, they aren't usually able to because of the refusal of these power hungry people to look in the mirror and do what's right. Corruption got them the power, and so they don't want to give it up.

I hoped he had something up his sleeve. Still do...if we're left holding bags this all just becomes the new normal
Worth pointing out that those were DC cops. DC is one of the most Left-wing places in the country.
Look up and learn what the thin blue line means.
