Was right up there near the bleachers watching younger men climb up some of the scaffolding. Nothing organized, I had thought there would be a screen setup for us to watch C-SPAN (or some other live coverage).
Left the area after a smoke bomb or two went off very close to me - it was NOT tear gas, it was clearly just a smoke-producing device, quickly extinguished. About 10 minutes later decided to leave as after waiting around for an hour or so (were there from about 1:15pm to about 2:30 or maybe 2:45), then heard the police sirens all around.
After seeing what happened with Pence and the do-nothing Congress last night, I'm steaming mad. And will keep fighting, no matter what.
Not sure what to do today though, with all the emotions I feel. Stolen in broad daylight, and the corruption in plain sight for everyone to see.

Really hard to see justice served after the narrative is so abusive: VP Pence fails spectacularly, an innocent woman gets killed by police, Congress seals a fraudulent election, and former friends of mine gloat over my own perceived insanity.
I accepted the fact though, a few days ago, with the 'what if Pence betrays the country on the 6th': that I will become part of the Resistance, in whatever form it takes, and will spend my time and effort to do my part in seeing the corruption exposed.
Today I think I'm going to wear all black and go into mourning. At least until GEOTUS indicates where this goes from here.
