I just wanted to express my heart felt thanks to the mods of this incredible community for all that you've done. You've held us together and created a lifeline to help us all escape Reddit's tyranny and censorship. You gave us a place to share real news and memes, to call out the criminals in politics, and to organize huge crowds and rallies. What you had to pull off to create this site and gather us all here is nothing less than incredible. Most people won't ever know the blood sweat and tears you poured into this place. Thank you.

Yesterday a lot of us were angry. Angry at the betrayal, angry at the rioters, angry with the ruling elites. Many of us made accusations or lashed out at you in an unjust manner. We let our wild emotions drive us to post things that never would be allowed on this site by the community. Calls for violence and death, as if we hadn't seen enough that day. This is not the place for that.

I'm sorry that our behavior is taking down the site and that we have only a few hours left. I hope that the other lifeboat sites come up and that the important work continues. I hope this is not goodbye and that my fellow pedes will look for other ways of making our will known Whatever the future has in store, I will hold you in a special place of honor for your service.
