The fear of blowback is the only thing stopping them at this point from doing either the 25th or a cleaner impeach & remove based on inciting violence. They may just keep him locked up and muzzled and do things in his name via the written word in order to bypass the issue. It's sort of already started with the "supporting the transition of power" document.
