Months back, a huge supporter of Donald Trump, Educating Liberals aka Dylan Wheeler, came out against Trump out of the blue. Calling him controlled opposition. I couldn't comprehend how that could possibly be true when Trump was leading the charge against globalism and cutting regulations and inspiring millions to be America first; but with recent events the answer came to me how Trump could be controlled opposition.

Trump's goal could be to destroy the Republican Party by exposing them as cowards who refuse to stop blatant election fraud and are all talk which causes a new political party to form, meaning to replace the GOP, but the GOP still runs candidates, so the votes get split; ensuring a Democrat supermajority for the foreseeable future.

Trump will show who he is in next few days/weeks. If Trump invokes his Executive Order concerning foreign interference, I think it will be safe to say Trump is the patriot we pray that he is. If he rolls over he is the Deep State. This will be confirmed even more when neither he nor his family are attacked past election.
