This is what I've been saying. If the GOP wanted to fix this, it would be been done weeks ago. They never wanted to.

142
T__X 142 points ago +142 / -0

Ding ding ding!

They just wanted to go through the Kabuki motions to be able to say they tried their best, gosh darn it.

32
ZyclonBernie 32 points ago +37 / -5

trust the plan amirite

22
T__X 22 points ago +23 / -1

No idea whether that's a part of any plan or not.

Just indication, if not confirmation, that the GOP are at best ineffectual losers, and at worst just the Washington Generals side of the Uniparty.

13
MICHIGANisRED 13 points ago +13 / -0

Who's plan? The GOP and Donald Trump have very different plans.

7
airmaildolphin 7 points ago +10 / -3

It's a reference to Q Anon. It's said that Q and Trump had a "plan" that was going to fix all of this magically.

5
AlwaysReady15 5 points ago +5 / -0

The plan was to psyop all the gullible normies into thinking everything would be ok and just to sit back and do nothing. It worked

5
DonuteaterReturns 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yep. If theres one silver lining here it's that all the Q people can now shut the hell up forever.

3
Ogcarvattack 3 points ago +3 / -0

still waiting for JFK jr...

10
LessAndLessIronic 10 points ago +11 / -1

There was never a plan. That slogan served to prevent us from making one.

We need to make a plan. Then we can trust it.

6

You’re going to Look awfully silly with that dooming sticking out of your ass.

23
Keiichi81 23 points ago +23 / -0

"We really wanted to do this, but it's just not possible now that we don't have power anymore. Darn! It's just really unfortunate, otherwise we'd totally do it."

That pretty neatly describes 98% of Republicans for the last 30 years.

4
T__X 4 points ago +5 / -1

This just isn't the hill to die on, ya know?

16
wharfthrowaway 16 points ago +16 / -0

just like Paul Ryan wasting Trump's first 2 years

20
Keiichi81 20 points ago +20 / -0

And McCain promising to repeal Obamacare, then voting to maintain it when actually given the opportunity.

-1
wharfthrowaway -1 points ago +5 / -6

he was the fallguy, even without him they woulda found a way to keep it

5
airmaildolphin 5 points ago +6 / -1

McCain was a FALLGUY? Really? He seems guilty as hell to me. Coming into Congress to cast the deciding vote is pretty clear.

7
wharfthrowaway 7 points ago +7 / -0

he was already on his way out, he takes the heat and all the younger people in congress can give the "but i voted to repeal!" all the while they're still sellouts

Yup. PA's letter is beyond cynical. GOP cucked out.

7
Bramage 7 points ago +8 / -1

Does this include Ted Cruz?

7
TheKeknadian 7 points ago +7 / -0

specially him....just pan dering for the job which he will never get from now on its democrats forever.

2
T__X 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't know - Ive seen folks lumping him in with others in lists of backstabbers ( including Rand Paul?) But I haven't seen the details for myself to know one way or another yet.

4
zee_bear 4 points ago +4 / -0

I didn't hear what Ted Cruz said, but I listened to Rand Paul's speech. He definitely backstabbed us. Basically said that the federal government shouldn't be 'overturning' the election (sounds good, but not when the state elections are fraudulent). Made no mention of all the fraud. Made no calls for investigation. This is the most disappointing part for me. I thought he was a good guy.

2
T__X 2 points ago +2 / -0

Personally, I could envision giving Rand a pass based on his hardcore principled stand (i.e. states-rights based argument)

Disappointing yes, but not necessarily backstabbing, but I can understand seeing it the other way too.

2
zee_bear 2 points ago +2 / -0

States don't have the right to disenfranchise us. It's backstabbing.

if they ever lost power to a Trump-like candidate again.

Not like they have to worry about this.

"Mail in ballots forever, all the time! Btw we just got a massive organic dump of them for the establishment candidate, haha :). Don't go trying to subvert democracy by questioning it, you lemmings!"

3
john1234 3 points ago +3 / -0

You just have to commit even more fraud

Dump such gigantic amounts of "mail votes" to republican / Trump voting precints that the democrats are forced to make up better voting laws

Put up 99% voting percentages, with 99% of votes going to the new Trump party

2
DO_NOT_CONCEDE 2 points ago +2 / -0

Once we do that, they’re gonna care and crack down on voter fraud again. Only their guy gets the special treatment.

2
john1234 2 points ago +2 / -0

Of course, that is the point of it

To make them want to curb out voter fraud

35
AbrahamLincoln 35 points ago +35 / -0

They didn't want an investigation, they wanted to run out the clock. And they did.

26

BLM_are_terrorists 84 points ago +84 / -0

THEY'VE HAD MONTHS. All of the info on fraud has been out for months and they did fucking nothing. They had no interest in doing the right thing. If they did it might reveal the GOP members who also cheated.

40
BornAgainPatriot 40 points ago +40 / -0

It's all just been a show to appease the masses.

5
airmaildolphin 5 points ago +5 / -0

Bingo. I said a while ago that I was worried this all was a show. Now we know.

5
Maccherokee 5 points ago +5 / -0

Are they appeased?

42
togger 42 points ago +42 / -0

Everyone knew time was critical. They should call special session. Arizona and Georgia also dragged their feet. The plan was to run out the clock.

32
Auroraalpha 32 points ago +32 / -0

AZ is about the only one that stood up. Their subpoenas got ignored, and the judge wouldnt charge the county for ignoring the subpoenas. Now they can toss the case because it is moot!

On a side note, this is why you cant trust going through the court system. A proper court case normally takes months to years to cycle through.

14
ProphetOfKek 14 points ago +14 / -0

AZ GOP party stood up. Did the legislature?

17
non-entity 17 points ago +17 / -0

No.. the legislatures were completely complicit except for a handful of honest guys that tried but could get nothing done. Those maricopa county election officials ignoring the subpoena were also gop.. at least 4 of the 5. They are just passing blame around bc they think we will fall back in line and support who they tell us to.

4
zee_bear 4 points ago +4 / -0

Most of the AZ GOP legislature stood up, but were not able to call for a special session. That's a power vested in the governor, and governor Douchey did not step up. Neither did the speaker of the house.

6
iamherefortheluls 6 points ago +6 / -0

election was in november. Did their session end in November

3
ProphetOfKek 3 points ago +3 / -0

So what? They can’t over turn the US senate.

21
jag1302 21 points ago +21 / -0

True that.

20
FORMERCHILDSTAR 20 points ago +20 / -0

True...they kicked the can. Cowards.

20
VaporJet2 20 points ago +21 / -1

Spineless Republican State Houses.

14
non-entity 14 points ago +14 / -0

It has nothing to do with spineless. These fuckers were complicit in large numbers to overthrowing Trump via election fraud. They knew everything perkins coi was doing. You think the legislature could not do something to stop a judge from creating his own statewide election laws to remove all safeguards from fraud. They are complicit.

4
day221 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yep. They didn't want to decertify, but they knew their constituents did. So it was a tough place. If it ever got put to them directly in a session they would have decertified, but now they can just claim they would have but never got a chance.

2
day221 2 points ago +2 / -0

Also Republican legislatures approved and voted for a lot of the mail in bullshit.

18
Okiedoked2 18 points ago +18 / -0

We owned the legislation in every contested state. Those fuckers had the power to fix this from the get go, but they cucked out. They are the treasonous ones, each and everyone.

2
john1234 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well you need to get rid of the Republican Party

Start a new Party

No matter how much it might hurt the votes in the beginning, when votes are split between the new & old parties

Even if you only get 35% of the votes in the next election, do it. After you win the republicans the first time, you get more votes, because everyone will see they have to vote either democrats or the new party

1
Okiedoked2 1 point ago +1 / -0

I hear you and remember this was attempted by the Tea party movement which died out fairly quickly.

1
john1234 1 point ago +1 / -0

The difference being that this time you have your own media to publish things, and 37% of people supporting

16
Jaggie 16 points ago +16 / -0

Kabuki theater at its finest.

15
debacle 15 points ago +15 / -0

The GOP wants to be cucked. They like being the minority party. They can't handle being the majority because their base is anti-Globalist.

5
Shoe 5 points ago +5 / -0

And they can raise more money and shift blame.

14
Mozart_K231 14 points ago +14 / -0

B-but they d-did something! See! We should unquestionably vote for them!

Until this year, I always dismissed the uniparty talk as nonsense. I believed that there were liberal and squishy republicans, but I never thought the fraud was as great as it was.

Should we ever fix our voting system and I decide to actually vote again, I will never vote for a Republican.

I’ll probably write in the name of the guy in the Buffalo suit who stormed congress. There’s no way he can be any worse than any current person in congress.

4
John_Miller__ [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Unfortunately I agree with you The buffalo guy is a nut job anti-trump Which is no different than Mitch McConnell or the Vice President

1
Frog_Anne 1 point ago +1 / -0

Did they finally determine if he's really anti-Trump? I saw a bunch of people saying he was a counter-protester at that Antifa thing, I think there was a full pic of the sign he had that was against Antifa. Of course I can't find it now, so maybe those people were wrong.

1
airmaildolphin 1 point ago +2 / -1

This is why we need a Trump party. A politician will have to be on record disavowing anything to do with either the Dem or Reps before I vote for him/her.

2
Mozart_K231 2 points ago +2 / -0

Or no political parties and no external campaign financing. Maybe just do what is individually good for your state/county and country.

12
Ratmilk 12 points ago +13 / -1

Well political ads for 2022 will be easy. "This asshole didnt do anything about the blatant voter fraud that happened in there state."

GOP tactic: They object when it won't do any good. It's virtue signaling - like wearing a mask!

10
universer 10 points ago +13 / -3

As far as I know they tried, they filled lawsuits and they were all trow out, the judges never even wanted to hear them out.

The GOP hoped that they would debate this on the floors of the Senate and show their findings as no legal institution would hear them.

But they didn't got that far.

9
BadManOrange 9 points ago +9 / -0

These people have always been full of crap. They don't care. The amount of people who aren't compromised in Congress is almost 0.

7

13
iamherefortheluls 13 points ago +13 / -0

Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia - look up how many of those have GOP majorities in the house and senate.

They spent 2 months sitting with their thumbs up their asses doing fuck all. Except for very few.

7
PaigeAshley 7 points ago +7 / -0

Nevada and Virginia as well.

7
JustHereForTheSalmon 7 points ago +7 / -0

What is there to investigate? WE did all the investigation for them, for free and within days.

7
non-entity 7 points ago +7 / -0

That was planned.. it is their excuse to give constituents on how they tried to stop it. It is bullshit. You really think they waited until the very last minute to suddenly decide to listen to the evidence. Give me a fucking break. The gop could not go along with the russia and ukraine coup bc they never were able to get Trump’s approval numbers low enough to vote for it without destroying their own careers. This election fraud was signed off by the gop and dems. They think they can pull these bs narratives to provide cover for why they did nothing for 2 months, then suddenly had an epiphany that they should listen to the evidence after they knew it was too late. They are all treasonous cunts. We live in an illusion of choice.

7
2WrongsMakeALeft 7 points ago +7 / -0

Correcting ALL fuckery begins with the states, at the state level. These legislatures should have pumped the brakes at the hint of fuckery and corrected then - not at the 11th hour.

6
non-entity 6 points ago +6 / -0

They had no intention of stopping the fraud.. they were complicit in it.

5

All these state with REPUBLICAN controlled legislatures did absolutely nothing (PA I'm looking hard at you) when the governor and the state supreme court told you fuck off and we're going to usurp the Constitution and write our own election laws you sat on your fucking hands and did nothing. Fuck all of you! COWARDS that's all you are! Don't give me this 11th hour faggotry to save face! You can all off yourselves and save oxygen for those of us who need it.

3

3
DearCow 3 points ago +3 / -0

Seriously, you think that wasn't all planned?

2
Hayride 2 points ago +2 / -0

Campaign contributions look to be a very tough sell in 2022. I'm going to guess a lot of people will come up with a convenient excuse not to run again. Then some new face that hasn't betrayed you yet will take their place and try to pretend that they're patriots. Nope. At this point I'd say you were a goner if you believed in either of the two parties.

2
Anonyman 2 points ago +2 / -0

Are they still investigating?

Fair enough. Not to mention they didn't sue to protect the interests of the legislature with regard to election rules.

2
Ivleeeg 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's not entirely true. Most states were out of session until very recently and without a governor calling a special session (wink wink Georgia) there could be no hearings. So they are doing things on a few weeks of being able to, not two full months.
