It's not really about stopping the deep state. It's about becoming self reliant. If you are physically dependent on the state and its system, you will become psychologically dependent on it as well. Spiritually too.
If you've read any history you'll know that unless you go completely off grid, remote, where no one can get to you, then they come for dissidents in all forms.
Self reliance doesn't mean that you aren't an enemy to these people.
If you don't stop the deep state then it all doesn't matter. So either be prepared to fight for your rights, move out of the country, or die a dissident to communism.

That is a fair point but it has been done before.
Going local has never helped. remember the kulaks who the Bolsheviks purposely targeted?
It works in numbers.
If you are isolated then that is always a problem.
