We're looking at doing the same, I've been researching this for about 10 years. Geothermal has made some great strides over that time. Planning on well, septic, geothermal, solar. I grew up gardening with my mom because we were poor and wanted vegetables still. I already have a garden / irrigation system plotted out. Small orchard as well. Whatever we don't consume/can I can give to MAGA neighbors.
