Twice in his speech yesterday, Trump said "It takes more courage for Mike to do nothing." At the time, I thought he was misspeaking, but he said it twice. I think he warned Pence of the coming actions, and Pence chose to side with the traitors. We'll see in the coming days if I'm wrong.

I don't doubt he knew what was likely to happen and had some sort of contingency, but whether or not it's anything that can actually happen is another story.
