That flower the guy is wearing on his jacket standing underneath the Pence sign is called a poppy, it is a symbol for mournful remembrance. We use the poppy in Canada for our national holiday called Remembrance Day, to honor fallen soldiers. Which, interestingly enough, you usually donate money to receive one (to help support veterans). Is Pence considered a fallen soldier because he's compromised? Is he receiving donations from a foreign influence? Is there symbolism there? I don't fucking know anymore.
