"Power corrupts. Absolute Power corrupts Absolutely"

I ask you a question: do the US not have absolute power on the world stage? Is it not the leader of the world? Does it not have the most power of all the nations?

America, as a country, is too powerful, it has the authority of ten nations, much less one. It is clear that America was being kept together by glue and duct tape. The constitution being a force of binding, but it could only last so long. Our representatives, no matter the party, are no longer accountable to us and can do a lot of damage, the expectation for them to be good and wise is long gone. Each of our government departments face massive diseconomies of scale issues.

Let us not mention that most of our states are richer than actual countries: https://nextshark.com/this-map-shows-which-american-states-are-richer-than-entire-countries/

I propose the splitting of the union into four distinctive new countries: California, Texas, Florida, and New York. The goal of this is to respect the various developing cultures and lifestyles of each of the nations. California being the liberal dreamland, Texas being the conservative dreamland. Florida making up the south and New York making up the north.

Each of these nations would be well-off economically and able to continue day to day operations with the necessary access to food, water, electricity, and other utilities. Each of them could dictate what they believe is the appropriate military size, economics, urban laws. Each country would also take their share of the US debt, allowing appropriate paying off of debt.

I believe we should really start moving towards this goal, trying to drum up popular support amongst both republicans and democrats, independents and apathetics.
